My Journal of Predictions and Other Things That Pop into My Head

Somewhere along the way, I remember hearing a short interview with John Edward (the Medium, not the politician) suggest that people jot the thoughts that pop into their head in a journal where they can keep track if those thoughts come true or not. (I’ve tried going online to look for the video and I can’t seem to find it. If anyone knows where to find it, please send me the link or add it in the comment section of this post.)

So after I am done with this post,  I am taking a blank notebook. A notebook in which I am going to start keeping track of what pops into my head and when. And then hopefully circle back later to see if there was any truth to what I thought or to see how I interpreted the thought in comparison to the reality. We’ll see how much of my thoughts and predictions actually make it into the book. I suppose only time will tell. I’ll keep you posted.

The stories and topics that I share are as I have observed them, as I have lived them, and as they have happened to me, along my journey. They are not intended to hurt anybody and they are told as I have experienced them. I have also done my best to protect the identity of the subjects in my writings. If you find yourself reading something and suddenly question: “Is that about me?” If that is the case it probably is to some degree because there’s absolutely some kind of lesson in there for you.
If the topics or stories on my blog or in my other writings are not relatable to you, then it is not for you, at least not at this time. We are all in different places along our journeys. What resonates with some, won’t even touch on the surface for others.

Which Angels to Work With When Opening Up

I had a reading today. My second one with Jill. I have had numerous readings from others before. My first one was probably 14 years ago. Readings don’t scare me and I truly think of them as a form of “therapy!” I am told that I am still trying to “open up” and during my reading Jill suggested that I need to start working with angels to help me with the awakening process. Angels are new to me. It’s not that I don’t believe in them, I was just raised Catholic and always prayed and talked to God and Jesus. Jill suggested that I work with the following angels and why.

Archangel Michael: He is the protector of light workers. He also helps to bring clear messages and guidance.

Archangel Raphael: He is good for healing! Jill suggested that I ask him to help heal my anxiety and stress so that it doesn’t affect me physically.

Archangel Gabriel: I should be asking him for clear and accurate guidance.

Archangel Haniel:  She’s the moon angel and a supportive guide for those who wish to develop their spiritual gifts. Jill suggested that I ask her for clear hearing, seeing, and knowing.  Haniel is all about intuition just like the moon.

Archangel Raziel:  Raziel whose name means “Secrets of the Lord” will be a big one for me, according to Jill.  He’s about clear hearing and understanding the messages you are hearing.  He also helps and supports your spiritual growth and development.

And lastly, Archangel Jeremiel:  He helps with clear visions, and can help interpret the angelic messages in our dreams. Jill suggested that I work with him to help me remember information that I may receive while sleeping – not like that happens often or very well lately, LOL!

The above list suggested by Jill for me are also the Angels that at the time of my reading, she is working with the most often. Of course, there are other Angels depending on different circumstances and needs. There is a lot on the internet about Angels. Jill suggested that I look them up and get comfortable with them. I figure with everything I have going on, it can’t hurt. I’ll try anything once.

Dreams, Numbers and Nauseousness

Last night I had a dream and in it, a post card was shown to me. I remember trying to look at it again and again to see what “clues” I could get from it. I am not sure what was on the postcard, I think that I remember a mountain being on the front of the card and a note on the back, but I remember not being able to make out the handwriting.

This morning I felt nauseous. A common feeling over the past week – No I am not pregnant. I managed to run to the store so that dinner and lunches could be had. While checking out, the receipt total came to $111.11.

When the number 1 is repeated many times to display numbers such as 11, 111, or 1111; it is a sign from the other side saying that you are being guided. It isn’t a destination, but more of an invitation. Spirits use numbers to try to get our attention to something more spiritually significant.

According to Doreen Virtue, 1, 11, 111, and 1111 in Angel Numbers all mean: “Keep your thoughts positive, because your thoughts are manifesting instantly into form. Focus only upon your desires and not upon your fears.”

Later I took a photo of the receipt from my recent store visit and shared it with a friend of mine who works with angels and guides, and also performs reiki healing. My friend suggested that I look up information on “Clairsentience.”

Clairsentience means “Clear Feeling” or “Clear Sensing” and it is a heightened form of empathy. Clairsentience is the ability to feel the present, past or future physical and emotional states of others, without the use of the normal five senses. (I am not sure why my friend suggested that I get familiar with the word, but I never thought to question it.)

She also suggested that I mediate in the morning for 20-30 minutes to see if that helps me with my nauseousness.  We’ll see if I can get myself to do so.  Making time and space to mediate is a challenge for me, or so I think.

Monkey Mind – What is Monkey Mind?

In my Reading the other day, Jill brought up that I have “Monkey Mind.” My mind is mush, I know that much. I used to have it together – the house, the kids, me, a career. These days, I’m lucky to know my name and my right hand from my left.

I looked up the term: Monkey Mind. It is a Buddhist term meaning “unsettled; restless; capricious; whimsical; fanciful; inconstant; confused; indecisive; uncontrollable“. Yup, that is about right. That is how I feel on a regular basis these days.  I also feel that my head never shuts off and is in constant motion. For example:

  • My mind is always thinking about what needs to be done – House, Children, Husband, Volunteering, Work….
  • My mind is constantly looping the list of fears that I have, both real and imaginary. (One day we’ll get into that more.
  • My mind is constantly recalling hurtful things that have happened in the past – family drama, parents, siblings, in-laws, out-laws, work-related, friendship related, you name it.
  • I’m always judging the present and feel that I keep re-hashing the past.
  • And this big one, which is really no joke: My mind continuously creating catastrophic “what-if” scenarios of the future. (Another one that I’ll get into another time.)

I interpret monkey mind as the mental clutter that is stopping me from living in the Present and acts as  a distraction that is stopping me from being the productive person that I once was. It is time to get the monkey off of my back – or at least out of my mind!

Has anyone else dealt with this sort of crazy?

What have you done to get rid of it?

What is All the Buzz About?

Today I was driving to a furniture store to pick something up that I put on hold the other day and… it happened again! The buzzing or tickle that I get in my ear. Usually the right ear. The buzzing, if that is even the right word, happens randomly and I can’t pinpoint when or why it happens. Today I started to feel anxious when it happened. I was in the car and actually passing a forest preserve when it happened.

When the buzzing happens, I’ve tried to keep track of what I am eating at the time, my stress level, and the amount of sleep that I am getting, or lack thereof, and I can’t seem to connect the dots.

I’ve tried looking these symptoms up online and I get things like: Tinnitus (pronounced ti-ni-tis), “tumor growing in your ear”, hearing loss and drug interaction. (Way to get someone who feels anxious off and on to not worry, or think the worse.)

While diving the rest of the way to the store, I kept analyzing what the buzzing could be. Something told me that I should contact a friend of mine who has experience with Spirits. My friend Linny. She actually gave me my first reading back in 2002. Linny was correct in “predicting” husbands, children – how many and what sex, job situations, etc. She perfected her gift by working with her grandmother.

As you are reading this, you might be wondering why I thought to call a friend like this for this situation. Well, I failed to mention at the beginning of this post that my anxiousness started while passing a forest preserve on the way to the store. And when I passed the forest preserve, I got a weird, feeling. A feeling that something bad happened there. Like someone was harmed or murdered there…

I guess with that in mind, and the buzzing, Linny popped into my head. When I got to the furniture store, I immediately sent a message to Linny asking her thoughts on the situation. (I didn’t mention the forest preserve or anything, just simply the buzzing in my ear.

Here is a copy of what I wrote:

Hey lovely lady. I have a crazy question for u. Better yet maybe I’m crazy. Is it possible for me to feel anxiety/anxious and have tingling in my ears when, well, maybe spirit guides are trying to tell me something? Or perhaps I just suffer from anxiety and have an ear issue.

And here is what she responded back:

Hi sweetie! Well, Spirit Guides come to us in many ways. I’ve heard of that before, but usually there is some other kind of sign soon after. Have you had any dreams? And, please remember their messages are not always bad. It could very well be something amazing is about to happen. Keep me posted. xoxoxox, love you, Lin

I felt a little more relaxed after hearing back. I also never considered getting a bad message, but I am new to whatever this buzzing is so I am open to learning anything I can.
