So You Say…That This is Going to be “The Year” and that 365 is a Good Number?

…this is the year things are really going to start falling into place…

I met up with my friend Jan today. We hadn’t seen each other since late October, though we do trade text messages and emails.  For the last year or so her and I keep discussing ways that her book can be promoted as well as the other ideas she has for future books, poetry readings and possibly workshops of some sort. During coffee she informs me how she has felt the tug to get another book started. We also have a discussion on what needs to be done to promote her and her brand. (All this before 10:30 AM, lol.) She tells me that she feels like this year is going to be a good year. That this is the year things are really going to start falling into place for her.

Over coffee, we discuss some of the things on my to-do list, some of which tie into what she is doing. Jan makes mention that this could really be the year for the both of us! (I do have to admit, I feel as though I am no longer in “stall” mode.)

After coffee we take a walk and hit a few local shops. In one of the stores, she made a small purchase. The total was $3.65. The shop owner made the comment how that number is a good one. In my head quickly, I was trying to add them up 3+6+5…. Trying to see what “lucky number” came out. Jan asks about the numbers and why they are good and the shop owner said, “Well, 365, that is how many days are in a year, right!” We both looked at each other and admitted to talking about how we had goals and things to do over the next year.

Later after lunch, we hit one more store before heading home. It was an antique store with all sorts of odds and ends. On a table were some old prayer cards. I was curious if these were funeral cards that someone was selling so I went to the one that I was drawn to and flipped it over. It was the “Prayer for a Good Year”. I skimmed it and put it down with a “huh! Look at that! How fitting for today!” (Looking back, I wish that I would have purchased it.)

Messages are all around us – all of the time.

It WILL be interesting to see what the next year brings! – MH

In Sync But Too Bad We Didn’t Make it to the Sink.

Now if only the end of my day was as in sync with the Universe. I feel that Spirit tried to warn me – I just didn’t know how to listen.

So today I got some interesting messages that reminded me that I was in sync with the Universe. While heading to my child’s school to help out in the classroom, I saw not one, not two, but three hawks on three different rooftops within a block of each other. To some, it may sound like something creepy out of a movie, but I knew this neat display was nothing to fear.

When I signed in at the office at the school the clock read 12:12. When I was done helping out I stopped off to check out a book fair that was happening at the school. When I looked up at the clock again, it read 1:11….

Now I could go on all day keep writing about the number 1, the number 2, and the combinations they make up and their meanings, etc. but let’s cut to the chase:

  • 1212 is a message to stay optimistically focused on your highest possible future, and a reminder that your angels are supporting you in manifesting your goals, dreams, and life purpose.
  • 1:11, (or 111) is a reminder to stay positive. It is a call from the angels to pay attention to one’s thoughts as they can manifest – good, bad or otherwise. (I can have a tough time dwelling on the positive and usually get stuck focused on rehashing negative thoughts. Not good!)

Now if only the end of my day was as in sync with the Universe.

After tucking my children into bed for the evening, I headed to my room to watch TV. (I should probably be meditating or something instead, but sometimes a girl just needs something mindless to do.) While in bed, I reflected on how cute my little boy was today. It was pajama day at school and he wore his favorite pair. I couldn’t help but to think to myself how there isn’t much more time before he will be too old to enjoy these silly theme days anymore. Soon he will think that it will be “uncool!”  Then I pictured the little guy shuffling to the bus in his jammies. I then thought to myself that I should be taking more photos of him.

Then I got a nervous, anxious feeling that washed over me.

I even ask myself, what could this feeling be? What am I missing?

A few minutes later, my son is in our hallway throwing up. He’s got an upset stomach.

I think to myself, “It’s too bad that we didn’t make it to the sink….”

I then beat myself up thinking that it is bad that I didn’t know how to “tune-in” to why I was feeling anxious right before it all happened.

I feel that Spirit tried to warn me – I just didn’t know how to listen.

And now I’m up trying to get puke out of the hall carpet.  – MBH

Dreams, Numbers and Nauseousness

Last night I had a dream and in it, a post card was shown to me. I remember trying to look at it again and again to see what “clues” I could get from it. I am not sure what was on the postcard, I think that I remember a mountain being on the front of the card and a note on the back, but I remember not being able to make out the handwriting.

This morning I felt nauseous. A common feeling over the past week – No I am not pregnant. I managed to run to the store so that dinner and lunches could be had. While checking out, the receipt total came to $111.11.

When the number 1 is repeated many times to display numbers such as 11, 111, or 1111; it is a sign from the other side saying that you are being guided. It isn’t a destination, but more of an invitation. Spirits use numbers to try to get our attention to something more spiritually significant.

According to Doreen Virtue, 1, 11, 111, and 1111 in Angel Numbers all mean: “Keep your thoughts positive, because your thoughts are manifesting instantly into form. Focus only upon your desires and not upon your fears.”

Later I took a photo of the receipt from my recent store visit and shared it with a friend of mine who works with angels and guides, and also performs reiki healing. My friend suggested that I look up information on “Clairsentience.”

Clairsentience means “Clear Feeling” or “Clear Sensing” and it is a heightened form of empathy. Clairsentience is the ability to feel the present, past or future physical and emotional states of others, without the use of the normal five senses. (I am not sure why my friend suggested that I get familiar with the word, but I never thought to question it.)

She also suggested that I mediate in the morning for 20-30 minutes to see if that helps me with my nauseousness.  We’ll see if I can get myself to do so.  Making time and space to mediate is a challenge for me, or so I think. – MBH
